I have attempted to explain my situation in contacted letter 3 times this year and they still keep calling me at a number that does not belong to me, since I can't afford my own phone. The last letter I wrote I cursed them out and told them I would try to sue them for useless harassment since I have been unemployed for over a year now since I don't speak Spanish and I don't drive and I am getting no financial assistance from anyone. I even told them I would record all their collection call when the time came to seek an attorney and Monday night they still called my friends number who can't afford anything right now

my husband and I had a debt to pay and NCO was the holder. They agreed to settle with us for a certain $ amount and we paid. However, we never received a release of debt letter and now the parent company is calling us looking for the remaining $. We called NCO to request a copy of the release letter but they have been giving us the 'run around'. Any suggestions on what to do next?

:zzz NCO does not actually record the phone calls as they say they do when they call you. The reason for this statement, is that today when I asked what was said during the last phone call, they had no recording or record of the phone call. They are trying to collect a debt that had been settled in 2005. I have told them that any further communication needs to be re-directed to my attorney and that if they call me again I will be filling harrassement charges against them.

I feel that they are fraudlent, especially when they could hardly give me their physical address and didn't know their own zip code.

The operators are rude and when I told them I was a 'day sleeper' because I work at night, instead of asking for a more appropriate time to call, they continued to be rude and I just got rude right back.

Believe me when I say I will be mailing some very "strong" letters to the powers that be regarding this organization.
